The Beauty of the Valley

No matter the demographic, we are all on a quest. Some have set out to bring their wildest dreams to life, while others are simply in pursuit of a better version of themselves.

And despite how things may appear on the surface, we all have one thing in common.

It is a given that we will each have our share of learning curves and growing pains.

Let’s not talk about the awkward phase where you have come too far to turn back but still you’re too close to even consider giving up or giving in. And the only option left is to simply ‘go through’.

The tough reality is that most lessons come hard. Actually some can be very embarrassing but perception can make a huge difference.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the hardships of our tribulations that we fail to remember that these very conditions foster resilience.

We can either endure while mumbling and complaining or we can seek out the lessons and grow through what we go through.

Listen. I can recall times when I would get over one hurdle only to run up on another and it felt like I just couldn’t catch a break. But if I had taken a closer look I would have seen that I was being strengthened with each obstacle preparing me for the one to follow.

And even though I am not where I would like to be I am super thankful that I am not where I used to be.

Today, my prayer for you is that you would endure in the hard times taking comfort in the fact that everything is for a reason and a season but in the end it all works together. The good and the bad.
